At Crownlands Stud, we will be promoting the Champagne Warmblood as a breed, with clearly defines 'breed standards'in the hopes of increasing the quality over every generation, so that one day a Champagne Warmblood may enjoy a reputation as consistently excellent quality, uniform in type Warmblood horses. It is with this goal in mind that Reign will stand at stud to the public one day, but will only be available to mares that meet certain requirements.

 

Mare restrictions:

Pedigree: Only Thoroughbreds mares, or mares with a minimum of 75% Warmblood blood   

                   will be considered.

Height:   Mares must be a minimum of 16hh, regardless of pedigree.

Colour:  Mares of any colour and any coat pattern are welcome! This includes Chestnut, Bay,

                Brown, Black, Palomino, Cremello, Champagne, Tobiano, Sabino etc.

 

As well as his breeding duties, Reign will be following a career in dressage with his breeder and owner, Madeleine Davis. We are very excited about this boy's future, and the future of the South African Champagne Warmblood!
