Far Hills Jewel is a valuable new addition to our stud. She is the first mare to form part of our Jumping Breeding Program. Jewel's entirely imported, star studded pedigree includes Joepie, an Imported Dutch Warmblood who competed in 1.30m show jumping before being sold.

Dam's sire is Zerro, Imported Dutch stallion, whith incredible technique, who competed in 1.20m showjumping before he sustained an injury and was retired to stud. Then we find Wachmann, Imported Hannoverian from Germany, who needs little intruduction, being the producer of the most A-grade jumpers in South Africa. Then Drabant, imported Swedish stallion, who was a foundation stallion for SAW. Drabant was absolutely famous for his beauty. Lastly Toroughbred blood rounds off the pedigree, bringing stamina and athleticism
Jewel's Granddam, Pohlands Watership Down, is a full sister to the beautiful mare named Pohlands Widget, a rather famous mare in the Western Province. Widget was a prolific winner at EM level dressage as well as being a top Eventer and Jumper.
In addition, the mare Pohlands Watership Down is extremely similarly bred to the famous stallion Little Mayfair Wunderbar, who is also Wachmann - Drabant - Thoroughbred.
